Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician


Course Objectives To obtain a greater awareness of the responsibilities of the sports/team physician. The ability to instruct athletes in rehabilitative procedures and athletic training principles. The capability to evaluate and treat typical sports and recreational injuries. The ability to treat athletes in emergency situations. A working knowledge of the clinical biomechanics and physiology involved in specific sports and recreational activities. Course Format: The course consists of five live sessions totaling 64 hours and distance learning modules totaling 48 hours. There are a total of 112 hours offered. Distance learning sessions are print-based or CD-ROM/DVD materials that are mailed to your home or office. Examinations are given at the end of each live and distance learning session.
